Rays to host first-place Sox to wrap up Personalized Rams Jersey first half

Rays manager Kevin Cash knew things would be tight in the American League — maybe just not at the level it’s been so far.

“In our division alone, it seems like every week somebody’s jumping somebody Personalized Rams Jersey or going back,” Cash said. “In the [AL] East, I think you anticipated it from the get-go. So as the Rays enter their final series before the All-Star break, a four-game set against the division-leading Red Sox at Tropicana Field, they’ll be looking to

Jacob Faria (3-0, 2.23 ERA) will get the ball for the Rays in Thursday’s opener. The righty has gotten off to a strong start in his Major League career, going 3-0 Custom Rams Jersey with a 2.23 ERA while becoming only the third pitcher since 2013 to begin his career with five consecutive quality starts. In those outings, the right-hander has 35 strikeouts to five walks.

Opposing Faria will be Red Sox lefty Chris Sale, who is coming off one of his sharpest outings of the season.Men’s Nike Custom Made St. Louis Rams Elite Navy Blue Team Color Jersey for Sale.

Against Toronto on Saturday, Sale (11-3, 2.61 ERA) threw Kevin Pillar Jersey seven scoreless innings, striking out 11 while walking only one. The outing marked Sale’s third this year without allowing a run, as well as the 11th time he’s tallied double-digit strikeouts. He became the sixth pitcher in history to have as many as 11 starts with double-digit strikeouts prior to the All-Star Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale Game.

Sale has won each of his last three starts and 10 of his last 11. He’s allowed just five earned runs in his past 29 2/3 innings, and Boston is 13-4 during his starts this year, having won seven of Sale’s last eight starts.

Three things to know about this game

• The Red Sox and Rays have already clashed for two series this year, and the results have been mixed. The Red Sox took three of four from the Rays from
Youth Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap April 14-17, but lost two of three from May 12-14.

• Left-handed batters are 7-for-30 (.233) with a .491 OPS against Faria, and his approach against them clearly has focused on going away. Just 5.8 percent of Faria’s pitches to lefties have hit the inner third of the strike zone or been off the plate inside, the lowest rate for any right-handed starter (minimum 100 pitches).

• Sale leads Personalize Rams Jersey  the Majors with 166 strikeouts. The only Red Sox pitcher to lead MLB in whiffs at the All-Star break is Roger Clemens, who did it in 1988 (186 K’s) and 1991 (123 K’s).

Rays’ Chris Archer collects first MLB hit,Personalized Rams Jersey RBI

CHICAGO — Tim Beckham smacked a two-run homer and Chris Archer helped himself with his first Major League hit, both coming in a five-run fourth inning, Personalized Rams Jersey to spark the Rays to a 6-5 Interleague victory over the Cubs on Tuesday.

The game marked Tampa Bay’s first at Wrigley Field since 2014 when Joe Maddon was the Rays’ manager. Now the Cubs’ skipper, Maddon said before the game he was looking forward to catching up with his former players and  Custom Rams Jersey coaches. He got a good look at Archer, who not only struck out eight over six innings but added an RBI single to help the Rays stay in contention in the American League Wild Card race.

“Without a doubt, we battled until literally the last pitch,” Archer said. “We got it done. It wasn’t the prettiest, but we got it done, and that’s all that matters. We need [wins] right now and we got one today.”

The right-hander was strong in his last inning when the Cubs had two on and nobody out. Archer then struck out the next three, hitting 97.8 mph on the last pitch to pinch-hitter Tommy La Stella.

“Really like the way Arch battled through that sixth inning to find a way to get out after first and second, no outs, and nobody comes across to score right there,” Rays manager Kevin Cash said. “That’s pretty telling. Big moment in his
Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey season.”

“It was huge,” Archer said of the sixth. “One swing of the bat could’ve tied the game. And very, very happy I got the opportunity to Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale work through it because I want the ball in those situations. And going forward, I hope I have the opportunity to get through it again.”

Jon Lester took the loss, giving up five earned runs over five innings. The Cubs
Men’s Nike Custom Made St. Louis Rams Elite Navy Blue Team Color Jersey for Sale have now dropped six of seven Interleague games this year.

“Eight of the nine hits were ground balls through the infield,” Lester said. “Maybe bad luck, maybe bad pitches, I don’t know. Even the home run, I didn’t think was terrible — I thought it was the right pitch at the right time. I’ll take eight hits on the ground — I’ll take my chances on that.”

The Cubs added two runs in the ninth against Alex Colome, scoring on Anthony Rizzo’s RBI single and a run-scoring groundout by Ben Zobrist. But Colome got Kevin Pillar Jersey Jason Heyward to fly out to right to end the game and strand two.

“That last inning — good at-bat after good at-bat,” Maddon said of his team. “We continue to get guys on base, that’s been our M.O. all season long, seeing a lot of pitches, and we just haven’t been consistent with the RBI hit.”

The game was played in front of 42,046, the largest crowd of the season at Wrigley Field and the first time the Cubs have topped 42,000 since July 13, 2013, against the Cardinals (42,240).

“Look, a win’s a win. You’re going to have some of those games where teams come back. This is a very good club over here,” Cash said. “They gave us every bit of it, but it was nice to see us come out on top Kevin Pillar Jersey.”

First time for everything: Archer was 0-for-23 at the plate before his RBI in the fourth. Trevor Plouffe singled to open the inning, the ball scooting under third baseman Kris Bryant’s glove to left. Beckham followed with his 11th homer,
Youth Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap launching a changeup from Lester into the basket rimming the left-field bleachers. Adeiny Hechavarria was safe on an infield single and Peter Bourjos walked to set up Archer, who singled to center. Steven Souza Jr. followed with a two-run double for a 6-1 lead.

“I saw Rizzo whenever I squared around, but I was locked in,” Archer said. “Cash and I talked about it before and he said, ‘Look, do it if you feel comfortable.’ In that situation I felt more comfortable swinging the bat.”

He surprised the Cubs. Maddon said he thought it was the first time a team had beaten their bunt defense.

“I don’t know what type of hitter Chris Archer is,” Bryant said, “but he looked pretty pumped after he did that. Risk versus reward, that’s the perfect bunt defense for us and it’s worked so many times, and that one time it didn’t happen.”

Final Vote update: In the Cubs’ third, Rays left fielder Corey Dickerson robbed Bryant of a potential hit with a diving catch. Bryant made up for that in the fifth. With two outs, Jon Jay bunted toward third and Evan Longoria fielded the ball but overthrew first. Jay got to third on the throwing error and then scored on Bryant’s infield single. A Final Vote candidate, Bryant now has hit safely in five consecutive games and 10 of his last 12.

“I don’t have the definitive answer. If you can out-slug the other team, it’s great. It just feels like we’re not clicking at the same time. We’ll figure it out. I think we have a great team here and great pitching staff and guys who really want to do well. When you have those ideas in your head, then things turn out the way you want them to.”
— Bryant

Archer is the first pitcher in Rays history with two starts against the Cubs. He’s made both at Wrigley Field, which was nearly his home. The Cubs acquired the right-hander from the Indians in December 2008, and he spent three years in the Minor Leagues before he was dealt to the Rays in January 2011.

Rays: Left-hander Blake Snell (0-5, 5.36 ERA) will get the ball for the Wednesday finale at Wrigley Field at 2:20 p.m. ET. Snell made his return from a stint with Triple-A Durham last week against the Pirates, giving up six runs in five innings and taking the loss.

Cubs: John Lackey gets the start Wednesday. He had trouble executing his pitches in his last outing against the Nationals and gave up eight runs over 5 1/3 innings. He hasn’t had much success at home this season, posting a 1-4 record and 5.13 ERA. First pitch is slated for 1:20 p.m. CT.

Rays’ Blake Snell Personalized Seahawks Jersey solid in loss to Cubs

CHICAGO — Blake Snell’s second outing since his return to the Majors showed signs Custom Seahawks Jersey of progress. For the first time all season, the lefty kept the other team off the board despite dealing with runners on base in every frame of his Kevin Pillar Jersey outing.

Snell departed the game after five scoreless innings and in line for the win, but the problem was when he left it. For the ninth straight time, he couldn’t reach Personalized Seahawks Jersey the six-inning mark and could only watch as the bullpen surrendered the lead in the 7-3 loss to the Cubs on Wednesday at Wrigley Field.

Full Game Coverage

“It’s always going to be tough, but I know that they’re giving it their all,” Snell said. “It’s definitely a step forward, but I’ve got to get into the sixth inning. I have to.”Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey.

While Snell’s outing — and chance at his first win of the season — was marred by the Personalize Rams Jersey finish, there were plenty of positives to take away.

For starters, Snell relied heavily on his fastball and it paid off. The pitch topped out at 97 mph, and he used it to rack up several of his strikeouts, including all
Women’s Toronto Blue Jays Kevin Pillar Majestic Scarlet Fashion Canada Day Red Flex Base Authentic Jersey three in the second inning.

“It was a lot [of confidence] but [catcher Jesus Sucre] noticed it,” Snell said. “He really did a great job back there and just having me in attack mode. Every half-inning he was talking to me: ‘Attack. Come on. Let’s go. Let’s go.'”

But there was also the negative. Not counting an intentional walk to Addison Russell, Snell faced a total of seven Cubs with a runner in scoring position, which led to his pitch count reaching 97 after just five innings.

“Somehow we’ve got to get to where that pitch count comes down a little bit,”
Men’s Nike Custom Made St. Louis Rams Elite Navy Blue Team Color Jersey for Sale Rays manager Kevin Cash said. “He can get deeper in ballgames and get quicker outs. It’s just very tough for him for whatever reason to get early outs.”

Sure enough, that was a problem across the board.

Erasmo Ramirez came in for the sixth and allowed Ian Happ to reach on a hard-hit leadoff single that was nearly caught by Logan Morrison. Ramirez would go on to allow a game-tying three-run homer to Jon Jay with two out in the inning. He was pulled after walking Kris Bryant to lead off the seventh.

The Cubs would eventually take the lead in that frame, plating two runs before extending their lead in the eighth. That was a source of frustration for Cash after the game, especially after the team nearly lost its lead in the ninth inning the night before.

“I don’t want to sound like a broken record. I know I do every time, but count control is everything in this league,” Cash said. “There’s not a pitcher that’s good enough in baseball to continue to fall behind hitters and expect to get them out.”

Drew Rasmussen, Rays don’t reach Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale agreement

The Rays will not sign Custom Seahawks Jersey Drew Rasmussen, their second selection in the 2017 MLB Draft, the team announced on Wednesday, as first reported by MLBPipeline.com’s Jim Callis.

Tampa Bay selected the Oregon State right-hander 31st overall with the first pick in Competitive Balance Round A.

“As has been reported, we were unable to reach an agreement with Drew Rasmussen,” the team said in a statement. “We wish Drew the best as he moves forward. We will have no further comment on the matter.”

With the team unable to sign Rasmussen, the Rays will not be able to reallocate the $2,134,900 allotted to the pick on another selection this year. However the team did say it expects to be awarded with a compensatory pick in next year’s Draft.

Rays Draft Tracker

Described by Rob Metzler, head of Rays’ amateur scouting, as a “power right hander” with a “strong slot,” Rasmussen was rated as the No. 98 Draft prospect, Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale according to MLBPipeline.com. He returned from Tommy John surgery in late April, initially working out of the bullpen before returning to the rotation. He has three effective pitches, led by a plus fastball.Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey.

“Velocity’s come back relatively quickly,” Rasmussen said after the Draft. “I know everyone’s timetable is different. I think it came back Personalized Seahawks Jersey relatively quickly. Now it’s just the touch-and-feel stuff that we’re working on. Some days command will be great, and I’ll say, ‘I’ve got it.’ And other days it’s a little more touch and feel and you have to make adjustments as you go. And that’s really where we’re at right now. Kind of tightening up the screws.”

If the Rays are awarded a comp pick for Rasmussen, the right-hander would presumably return to Oregon State for his redshirt junior year. His Beavers were the top-ranked team in college baseball and made it to the semifinals of the

Rays’ Logan Morrison vying for Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale AL Final Vote

CHICAGO — After another quality start and notching his first career hit Tuesday, Chris Archer figured it might be time for some more responsibility. Specifically, Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale the right-hander began his stint as the campaign manager for Logan Morrison in the 2017 Esurance All-Star Game Final Vote, announcing his intentions on Twitter before going into more detail on Wednesday.

“I don’t even know [how it happened]. I went on MLB Network and was campaigning for Corey Dickerson to win the fan vote [to start] the All-Star Game,” Archer said. “We’re all doing our part. We’re all tweeting, we’re all really pushing for LoMo to get that last spot.”

Fans can cast ballots for the 2017 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Final Vote on MLB.com, club sites and their mobile devices until 4 p.m. ET today. The winners, as chosen exclusively by online fan voting totals Personalize Rams Jersey, will then be announced during “MLB Tonight” live on MLB Network and MLB.com at 6 p.m. Extensive coverage throughout the Final Vote will be provided by MLB Network and MLB.com, including interviews with the candidates, frequent updates, heat maps indicating where votes are being cast for each candidate,
Men’s Nike Custom Made St. Louis Rams Elite Navy Blue Team Color Jersey for Sale news on player and club campaigns, and a running countdown clock leading up to the announcement.

Archer’s stint unofficially began at 8:50 a.m., when he sent out a tweet to his near 85,000 followers urging them to get out and vote for Morrison, who has some ground to make up.

After Tuesday’s returns, the first baseman remained in fifth in the AL vote. Kansas City’s Mike Moustakas was leading the way with 8.5 million votes, followed by Boston’s Xander Bogaerts, New York’s Didi Gregorius and Texas’ Elvis Andrus.

“Good morning!” Archer tweeted. “I’m a part time campaign manager and I say #VoteLoMo for the final vote for the ’17 all Custom Rams Jersey star game! Do it NOW! (LoMo voice)”

Archer hasn’t been the only one spreading the word.

Several Rays, including right fielder Steven Souza Jr., third baseman Evan Longoria and right-hander Jacob Faria have all shared their own posts.

The Rays have also gone offline to spread the message, deploying what the team’s Twitter account referred to as the “most elite mass communication technique” in Tampa Bay — fixing a banner on the end of a speed boat that read “VOTE RAYS
Youth Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap LOGAN MORRISON TO THE ALL STAR GAME ! MLB.COM.”

While he was impressed by the gesture, Archer wasn’t quite sure if he had anything that big in his campaign-manager Kevin Pillar Jersey bag of tricks.

“Nah, nah,” Archer said with a smile. “Just little stuff, tweets. Hopefully it goes a long way.”

That being said, the biggest opportunity for a statement Wednesday wasn’t on Twitter or the ocean — or anywhere other than Wrigley Field for that matter. After getting the day off Tuesday, Morrison returned to the lineup for the finale against the Cubs. He went 2-for-4 in the Rays’ 7-3 loss, singling in the first and ninth innings — though in each instance he became a part of a double play during the ensuing at-bat.

Morrison, who entered Wednesday tied for third in the Majors with 24 home runs, said he appreciated the support of his teammates, but affirmed an earlier statement that he has one primary role with the club, and outside of that, things are out of his hands.

“Like I said before, I’m a baseball player. My job is to win games,” Morrison said. “So my teammates helping me out sounds — it’s appreciated. Hopefully it works, but we’ll see.”

Now in its 16th season, with more than 680 million votes cast, the Final Vote again will include social votes on the last day of balloting, as Twitter support for the 10 candidates over the final six hours of balloting will count toward their vote totals. From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. ET on Thursday, any tweet that includes a designated player hashtag will be tabulated as part of the official vote total used to determine the winners.

Cubs score 7 straight runs to Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale rally past Rays

CHICAGO — Pinch-hitter Jon Jay smacked a game-tying three-run homer in the sixth inning and rookie Ian Happ hit a tiebreaking two-run single in the seventh Kevin Pillar Jersey For Sale to lift the Cubs to a 7-3 victory over the Rays on Wednesday at Wrigley Field and split the Interleague series. These two teams will meet again in St. Petersburg in September.

Evan Longoria drove in two runs and survived a tumble into the stands and Corey Dickerson hit an RBI double to give the Rays a 3-0 lead. But Jay tied the Kevin Pillar Jersey game with his third career pinch-hit home run and second blast of the year.

Full Game Coverage

“It was a more complete game,” Cubs manager Joe Maddon said. “We were down 3-0, but I felt good about it. It’s just that things weren’t going our way. That batted-ball-in-play statistic has to come back to us at some point. The ball’s been hit hard but at people. We’ve got to keep fighting through it.”

With the score knotted at 3 in the Cubs seventh, Erasmo Ramirez walked Kris Bryant and was lifted for Adam Kolarek. Anthony Rizzo greeted the lefty with an opposite-field single, and both runners advanced on Ben Zobrist’s sacrifice bunt. Happ then hit a single to center — Maddon called it a “game-changer” — to drive in Bryant and Rizzo.

Rizzo added a two-run double with two outs in the eighth.Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey.

“Tough loss, obviously. 3-0 ballgame with, what was it — 12 outs to get?” Rays manager Kevin Cash said. “But it’s pretty telling. We gave up seven runs with nine outs to get. That’s generally not going to get you a win.”

Pedro Strop picked up the win in relief of starter John Lackey, who gave up three runs over six innings. The Cubs now are 2-6 in Interleague Play.

Rays starter Blake Snell scattered four hits and walked four over five scoreless innings.

“Definitely a step in the right direction,” Snell said. “Yeah, only going five, but I’m happy with how the team played behind me. I felt like they did a great job, and [catcher Jesus Sucre], I can’t say enough about him back there.”

Longo in middle of action: Mallex Smith singled to lead off the game, then stole second and scored one out later on Longoria’s single. It was the 68th first-inning run off Cubs pitching this year (the Mets lead the National League with 71). Longoria also hustled to try and catch Rizzo’s popup in foul territory in the fifth
Women’s Toronto Blue Jays Kevin Pillar Majestic Scarlet Fashion Canada Day Red Flex Base Authentic Jersey and flipped over a low gate into the stands. He survived the dive. Longoria added a sacrifice fly in the sixth and now has 51 RBIs, the third Rays player to reach 50 before the All-Star break, joining Logan Morrison (57) and Steven Souza Jr. (55).

“I lost track a little bit of where it was just ’cause I didn’t want to take my eye off the ball,” Longoria said of his flip. “I tried to slow down as much as I could before I got there.”

“I was scared, I mean, yeah. Any time you go into a wall — that wall’s a weird height — so you get nervous a little bit obviously when you go over it. It didn’t feel great, but I’m OK.”

Jay thwarts Snell: Snell shut down the Cubs over five innings and was in line for his first win of the season when Ramirez took over in the sixth. Happ singled to lead off and one out later, moved up on Javier Baez’s single. With two outs, Jay delivered his second homer of the season to tied the game at 3. The Cubs were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position before Jay’s homer. Maddon had debated using Tommy La Stella in that situation, but went with Jay because he’d been playing more.

“I wasn’t expecting a home run,” Maddon said. “That’s a two-strike homer,
Youth Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap opposite gap. He gives you a good at-bat, no question.”

Jay even tipped his cap to the crowd of 39,855 at Wrigley FIeld for a curtain call.

“I try to do the same thing every time, just try to use the middle Personalized Seahawks Jersey of the field and put the barrel on the ball and I was able to do that there,” Jay said.

“It’s a long season. Stay in your approach, stay at what you do. We’ve got a lot talent in the room, and hopefully it works out in the end.”
Lackey, on what the Cubs need to do

The Cubs posted their 10th win when trailing entering the sixth inning, tied for the most such wins in the Majors with the Red Sox and Astros.

Lackey was lifted after throwing 79 pitches over six innings. He’s been bothered by plantar fasciitis in his right foot but didn’t want to say how long he’d been dealing with that.

“I’m 38 years old,” Lackey said. “I’m bothered by a lot of things.”

His next start will be after the All-Star break.

“We want to make sure he has a real lengthy vacation right now,” Maddon said.

Smith was called safe after a double to left field despite a tag by Cubs second baseman Baez in the Rays’ sixth. The Cubs challenged the ruling and after a review, the call stood. Smith scored two batters later on Longoria’s sacrifice fly. The Rays’ leadoff man went 4-for-4.

With two outs in the Chicago eighth, Rizzo doubled and tried to advance to third but was thrown out. Maddon asked for a crew chief review, and the call was confirmed.

Rays: The Rays will return home for a four-game set against the Red Sox — beginning at 7:10 p.m. ET on Thursday — before the teams Custom Rams Jersey head to the All-Star break. Righty Jake Faria (3-0, 2.23 ERA) will get the ball for the series opener. Each of his first five Major League outings have been quality starts.

Cubs: Mike Montgomery will make his third start at home on Thursday when the Cubs play host to the Brewers in a makeup game. The lefty is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA in two starts so far at Wrigley Field, including six shutout innings on June 20 against the Padres. First pitch is scheduled for 1:20 p.m. CT.

Personalized Seattle Seahawks Jersey AFC training camp battles headlined by two QB races

Training camp can be boiled down to two types of storylines that truly matter:
Personalized Seattle Seahawks Jersey injuries and jobs. There is no way to predict injuries, but we can try to handicap the important starting jobs up for grabs over the next month.

Here are the top 20 AFC position battles to watch in camp. We’ll post the NFC edition on Thursday.

1) Broncos quarterback: Mark Sanchez vs. Trevor Siemian vs. Paxton Lynch

Either the Broncos are doing a masterful job lowering expectations for their first-round pick or Lynch truly will get a redshirt year. It still defies logic that Siemian,
Personalized NFL Football Jersey a second-year pro who was active for one game last season, has a better chance to start than Lynch. Siemian is the kind of storyline that often cuts sharply once pads arrive and the pass rush matters in
Men’s Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap practice. This is Sanchez’s job to lose, but don’t rule out general manager John Elway acquiring another veteran.

2) Browns quarterback: Robert Griffin III vs. Josh McCown vs. Cody Kessler

The winner of this battle will throw to a sneaky-fun collection of weapons: Josh Gordon (beginning in Week 5), Gary Barnidge, Corey Coleman, Duke Johnson and Andrew Hawkins. Based on their play from 2013 through ’15, McCown should be the favorite over Griffin. Based on Hue Jackson’s offseason comments and the
Custom Seahawks Jersey expected snap distribution, Griffin is almost certain to win. Based on the NFL always making us look stupid, Kessler (whose third-round selection surprised many) will somehow be a factor before all is said and done.

3) Dolphins running back: Jay Ajayi vs. Arian Foster vs. Kenyan Drake

This is the ultimate boom-or-bust backfield. All three players have high ceilings and all three have durability questions. Foster is no lock to make the roster if he can’t recapture his 2014 form after Achilles surgery. Ajayi is the favorite to start and owns a throwback power game to go with good hands. Taken in the third round, Drake has the gifts to be a strong third-down back and the curse of injuries dating back to Alabama.

4) Steelers outside linebacker: Jarvis Jones vs. James Harrison

It’s an age-old NFL story. At what point do the Steelers call the fight and admit that a disappointing first-round pick can’t unseat the ageless veteran? Jones started games last year. Harrison played more snaps and closed the games. That tells you what Mike Tomlin thinks of this battle. You try to be the coach who tells Harrison he’s on the bench.

5) Steelers No. 2 receiver: Markus Wheaton vs. Sammie Coates

Coates enjoyed the rare distinction of gaining more yards inPittsburgh’s playoff
Women’s Nike Custom Made Seattle Seahawks College Navy Blue Team Color NFL Football Jersey Sale loss (61) than he did his entire rookie regular season. That makes him the underdog in a battle with Wheaton to fill Martavis Bryant’s big shoes in the starting lineup.

6) Jaguars running back: Chris Ivory vs. T.J. Yeldon

The Jaguars likely will settle on a committee approach, with Ivory gobbling up goal-line carries and Yeldon taking the passing-down work. Ivory’s contract ($32 million over five years) indicates he’s the favorite to earn the majority of the rest of snaps available. He just needs to win the battle against his own body in August by staying healthy.

7) Jaguars left tackle: Luke Joeckel vs. Kelvin Beachum

Joeckel was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2013 NFL Draft. Beachum was the No. 248 pick of the 2012NFL Draft. This is Beachum’s job to lose if he can show he’s
Youth Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap fully recovered from a torn ACL. Isn’t meritocracy grand?

8) Jaguars OTTO: Myles Jack vs. Dan Skuta

The Jaguars drafted Jack out of UCLA to run their defense at middle linebacker.
Customized Seattle Seahawks Jersey For now, that’s Paul Posluszny’s job on running downs. Jack will play in sub-packages right away, but we’re curious to see if he’ll steal snaps from veteran Dan Skuta on the outside, too.

Now is probably the time to tell you that coach Gus Bradley calls his outside linebacker spots “LEO” and “OTTO” for mystical reasons better explained elsewhere.

9) Texans defensive ends

My editor wanted to kill this battle from the list when it was framed as: “Who starts opposite J.J. Watt?” Now it could be: “Who starts at both defensive end spots while Watt gets healthy?”

With 2015 starter Jared Crick in Denver, the lack of proven options (Devon Still, Christian Covington,Brandon Dunn and Jeoffrey Pagan) should be a big concern for Texans fans.

10) Texans No. 2 receiver: Jaelen Strong vs. Will Fuller vs. Cecil Shorts III vs. Braxton Miller

If you believe the OTA hype, second-year pro Strong might just be the slight favorite to start over Fuller, the team’s first-round pick in April. Believing OTA hype is usually not good for your health.

11) Ravens running back: Justin Forsett vs. Buck Allen vs. Kenneth Dixon vs. the field

Forsett finally found a home in Baltimore. Now he has to fend off no fewer than five challengers to his throne, all with significant recent NFL experience. Allen made few mistakes as a starter last year, while Dixon has the skill set to play every down. This battle probably will come down to a three-man fight for one roster spot between Lorenzo Taliaferro, Terrance West and walking headline generator Trent Richardson. Forsett could be a surprise cut candidate if the young kids play too well.

12) Ravens tight end: Ben Watson vs. Dennis Pitta vs. Crockett Gillmore vs. Maxx Williams

After a year-long worst-case scenario come to life, GM Ozzie Newsome isn’t taking any chances at tight end this year. The variety here is remarkable. You have a 35-year-old coming off a career year in Watson. Pitta is trying to complete an improbable comeback from multiple hip surgeries. Gillmore was Baltimore’s most dangerous pass catcher for a stretch last year, and Williams was a 2015 second-round pick.

Watson is the early favorite, but Gillmore is the most explosive player. If Pitta builds on a promising offseason, the Ravens could have a great problem on their hands.

13) Titans receiver battle royale

The most ignored team in the NFL has an intriguing set of receivers, even if it doesn’t add Andre Johnson. Free-agent pickup Rishard Matthews should be a lock to start. After that, it’s anyone’s guess.

We’d think that former 1,000-yard receiver Kendall Wright would have a big role, but coach Mike Mularkey put him in the principal’s office this offseason, in part because of Wright’s reputation for freelancing. Dorial Green-Beckham and Justin Hunter are former second-round picks with immense physical gifts that have yet to fully translate in the NFL. Harry Douglas played for Mularkey in Atlanta.

Somehow, all the names above were running behind fifth-round rookie Tajae Sharpe from UMass over the summer. Hunter and possibly Douglas could be the odd men out here, with Sharpe cutting into Wright’s snaps.

14) Browns running back: Duke Johnson vs. Isaiah Crowell

It was written: Football Svengali Marc Sessler already let us know that Duke Johnson will Make the Leap, so now it’s time to sit back and enjoy the ride. Johnson has the tackle-breaking toughness and ability to make defenders miss in the hole that could make this a one-sided committee.

15) Bengals wide receivers: Who replaces Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones?

There are no magic answers coming for Andy Dalton beyond the Bengals’ fierce running game, offensive line and defense. (Perhaps this isn’t such an emergency after all.) Sanu should be simple enough to replace with rookie Tyler Boyd, the favorite to get snaps in the slot. Going from Jones toBrandon LaFell outside could be a bigger problem. It’s hard to see who else could emerge from theBengals’ depth chart at the position: Brandon Tate, Cody Core, James Wright, Mario Alford and Jake Kumerow.

16) Patriots entire interior offensive line

The Patriots might have won their fifth Super Bowl if they could have protected Tom Brady late last season. They are healthier at tackle now, but their interior offensive line has seven players battling for three open spots. Former top-10 pick Jonathan Cooper, part of the trade that sent Chandler Jones to Arizona, will be in the mix for one of the starting guard spots, along with third-round pick Joe Thuney. The biggest reason for optimism: Bill Belichick convinced offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia to end his retirement.

17) Steelers secondary: Top two draft picks vs. veterans

Pittsburgh GM Kevin Colbert has drafted well during his underrated 16-year tenure, although his track record in the secondary is wanting. Mike Tomlin hopes that changes this year. The team’s first-round pick, Artie Burns, is vying for snaps at cornerback behind Ross Cockrell. Second-round safety Sean Davis is trying to displace veterans Robert Golden and Shamarko Thomas. Despite his lower draft position, Davis is the better bet to start Week 1.

18) Broncos defensive end: Who replaces Malik Jackson?

The Broncos let Jackson walk to Jacksonville for a variety of reasons, most of them financial. Coordinator Wade Phillips’ ability to maximize D-line talent also played a role. Vance Walker is a solid rotation player. Gary Kubiak imported old friend Jared Crick from Houston. The team could moveSylvester Williams from nose tackle to play snaps at end. Australian rookie Adam Gotsis has only played football since age 13 and landed with the perfect coach to help him learn his trade.

It’s worth remembering that Jackson wasn’t even a starter until 2015. In SonofBum they trust.

19) Bills No. 3 receiver

This battle makes the list because Sammy Watkins’ foot injury threatens to linger through the season. It also makes the list because the depth chart ranks among the league’s least inspiring. Robert Woods is stretched as a starter. Greg Salas, Dezmin Lewis and Leonard Hankerson are the leading options to start if Watkins is out. Translation: Rex Ryan has his excuse to not allow forward passes this season.

20) Jets outside linebacker

Jets coach Todd Bowles says that his team is “not just about the quarterback position.” He had better hope it’s not just about outside linebacker. This group is so thin (Trevor Reilly, Jordan Jenkins) behind promising second-year pro Lorenzo Mauldin that Bowles should line up primarily as a 4-3 team in order to Men’s Nike Custom Made Seattle Seahawks College Navy Blue Team Color NFL Football Jersey Sale keep his best players on the field. (And his outside linebackers off it.)

Custom Seahawks Jersey 10 Troubling Habits of Chronically Unhappy People

Happiness comes in so many different forms that it can be hard to define.Men’s Nike Custom Made Seattle Seahawks College Navy Blue Team Color NFL Football Jersey Sale.Unhappiness, on the other hand, is easy to identify; you know it when you see it, and you definitely know when it’s taken ahold of you.

Unhappiness is lethal to everyone around you, just like second-hand smoke.
Custom Seahawks Jersey The famous Terman Study from Stanford followed subjects for eight decades and found that being around unhappy people is linked to poorer health and a shorter life span.

Happiness has much less to do with life circumstances than you might think. A University of Illinois study found that people who earn the most (more than $10 million annually) are only a smidge happier than the average Joes and Janes who work for them.

Life circumstances have little to do with happiness because much happiness is under your control–the product of your habits and your outlook on life.
Customized Seahawks Women’s Jersey Psychologists from the University of California who study happiness found that genetics and life circumstances only account for about 50% of a person’s happiness. The rest is up to you.

“The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.” – Benjamin Franklin

Unhappy Habits

When people are unhappy, it’s much more difficult to be around them, let alone work with them. Unhappiness drives people away, creating a vicious cycle that holds you back from achieving everything that you’re capable of.

Unhappiness can catch you by surprise. So much of your happiness is
Men’s Nike Customized Seattle Seahawks Elite Team Raod Navy Blue White Two Tone NFL Jersey determined by your habits (in thought and deed) that you have to monitor them closely to make certain that they don’t drag you down into the abyss.

Some habits lead to unhappiness more than others do. You should be especially wary of the ten habits that follow as they are the worst offenders. Watch yourself carefully to make certain that these habits are not your own.

Waiting for the future. Telling yourself, “I’ll be happy when …” is one of the easiest unhappy habits to fall into. How you end the statement doesn’t really matter (it might be a promotion, more pay, or a new relationship) because it puts too much emphasis on circumstances, and improved circumstances don’t lead to
happiness. Don’t spend your time waiting for something that’s proven to have no effect on your mood. Instead focus on being happy right now, in the present moment, because there’s no guarantee of the future.

Spending too much time and effort acquiring “things.” People living in extreme poverty experience a significant increase in happiness when their financial circumstances improve, but it drops off quickly above $20,000 in annual income. There’s an ocean of research that shows that material things don’t make you happy. When you make a habit of chasing things,Personalized Seattle Seahawks Jersey you are likely to become unhappy because, beyond the disappointment you experience once you get them, you discover that you’ve gained them at the expense of the real things that can make you happy, such as friends, family, and hobbies.

Staying home. When you feel unhappy, it’s tempting to avoid other people. This is a huge mistake as socializing, even when you don’t enjoy it, is great for your mood. We all have those days when we just want to pull the covers over our heads and refuse to talk to anybody, but understand that the moment this
Men’s Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap becomes a tendency, it destroys your mood. Recognize when unhappiness is making you antisocial, force yourself to get out there and mingle, and you’ll notice the difference right away.

Seeing yourself as a victim. Unhappy people tend to operate from the default position that life is both hard and out of their control. In other words, “Life is out to get me, and there’s nothing I can do about it.” The problem with that philosophy is that it fosters a feeling of helplessness, and people who feel helpless aren’t likely to take action to make things better. While everyone is certainly entitled to feel down every once in a while, it’s important to recognize when you’re letting this affect your outlook on life. You’re not the only person that bad things happen to, and you dohave control over your future as long as you’re willing to take action.

Pessimism. Nothing fuels unhappiness quite like pessimism. The problem with a pessimistic attitude, beyond it being hard on your mood, is that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy: if you expect bad things, you’re more likely to get bad things. Pessimistic thoughts are hard to shake off until you recognize how illogical they are. Force yourself to look at the facts, and you’ll see that things are not nearly as bad as they seem.

Complaining itself is troubling as well as the attitude that precedes it. Complaining is a self-reinforcing behavior. By constantly talking–and therefore thinking–about how bad things are, you reaffirm your negative beliefs. While talking about what bothers you can help you feel better, there’s a fine line between complaining being therapeutic and it fueling unhappiness. Beyond making you unhappy, complaining drives other people away.

Blowing things out of proportion. Bad things happen to everybody. The difference is that happy people see them for what they are–a temporary bummer–whereas unhappy people see anything negative as further evidence
Custom NFL Jersey that life is out to get them. A happy person is upset if they have a fender bender on the way to work, but they keep things in perspective: “What a hassle, but at least it wasn’t more serious.” An unhappy person, on the other hand, uses it as proof that the day, the week, the month, maybe even their whole life, is doomed.

Sweeping problems under the rug. Happy people are accountable for their actions. When they make a mistake, they own it. Unhappy people, on the other hand, find problems and mistakes to be threatening, so they try to hide them.
Women’s Nike Custom Made Seattle Seahawks College Navy Blue Team Color NFL Football Jersey Sale.Problems tend to get bigger when they’re ignored. The more you don’t do anything about a problem, the more it starts to feel as though you can’t do anything about it, and then you’re right back to feeling like a victim.

Not improving. Because unhappy people are pessimists and feel a lack of control over their lives, they tend to sit back and wait for life to happen to them. Instead of setting goals, learning, and improving themselves, they just keep plodding along, and then they wonder why things never change.

Trying to keep up with the Joneses. Jealousy and envy are incompatible with happiness, so if you’re constantly comparing yourself with others, it’s time to stop. In one study, most subjects said that they’d be okay with making less money, but only if everybody else did too. Be wary of this kind of thinking as it won’t make you happy and, more often than not, has the opposite effect.

Bringing It All Together

Changing your habits in the name of greater happiness is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. But it’s also important for another reason–taking control of your happiness makes everyone around you happier too.Youth Nike Seattle Seahawks NFL Elite Away White Custom Jersey Cheap.
