Austin Riley’s perfect day at the plate helped lead Class A Advanced Florida to a 4-3 win over Fort Myers on Saturday.Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 20 Josh Donaldson Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey Cheap.

The Braves’ No. 12 prospect put together his first two-homer game of the season — and second of his career — as he finished 3-for-3 with two homers and tied his season high Kevin Pillar Youth Jersey with a trio of RBIs.

“I’m feeling good right now; I’ve been struggling a little bit,” Riley told MiLB.com. “It’s kind of like the struggling Kevin Pillar Jersey where you’re hitting the ball right at people, so it’s kind of frustrating not finding holes. I’m seeing the ball well, I think they’re just starting to fall through.”

Riley gave the Fire Frogs a two-run lead with a homer in the first inning and then homered again, his 11th of the season, in the third.

The 20-year-old drew a walk in the sixth and then finished his day with a double in the seventh.

“That was money. I feel like I haven’t touched second in a while,” Riley said. “Just getting that third hit, it just felt really good. I needed it, for sure.”

Other top prospect performances from Saturday’s action:

No. 4 overall prospect J.P. Crawford (Phillies’ No. 1) put together his second three-hit game of the season for Triple-A Lehigh Valley as he went 3-for-5 with two doubles in the IronPigs’ 5-4 loss to Rochester.Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey.

No. 7 overall prospect Ozzie Albies (Braves’ No. 1) extended his hitting streak to six games with a 2-for-4 game for Triple-A Gwinnett. Albies hit his fifth homer in the contest and has hits in 10 of his past 11 games, including five multi-hit efforts.

No. 29 overall prospect Kyle Tucker (Astros’ No. 2) hit his fourth homer in six games for Double-A Corpus Christi. Tucker finished 3-for-5 and drove in three runs — one via his homer and two courtesy of an 8th-inning single.

No. 39 overall prospect (Yankees’ No. 4) Jorge Mateo extended his hitting streak to seven games for Class A Advanced Tampa. Mateo led off the game with a solo homer – his fourth of the season – and finished the day 2-for-4.

No. 49 overall prospect Triston McKenzie (Indians’ No. 3) bounced back in a big way for Class A Advanced Lynchburg. After giving up seven runs in 1 2/3 innings in his last start, McKenzie gave up one run on eight hits over six innings. The 19-year-old didn’t issue a walk and struck out nine.

No. 66 overall prospect Mike Soroka’s (Braves’ No. 4) scoreless streak came to a close, but the 19-year-old still spun a gem for Double-A Mississippi. Soroka gave up an earned run in the sixth, his first in over 30 frames, and
Youth Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Home White Baseball Jersey left the game after giving up one run on nine hits in six innings.

No. 90 overall prospect Casey Gillaspie (Rays’ No. 5) hit his seventh homer of the season as part of a 3-for-4 effort as Triple-A Durham routed Charlotte, 17-3. Gillaspie hit a two-run homer in the second, singled in the fourth and added a double in the fifth.

• Rangers’ No. 4 Kevin Pillar Womens Jersey prospect Ronald Guzman hit his eighth homer of the season, a three-run blast in Triple-A Round Rock’s loss to Iowa. Guzman, who finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs, has homered in two consecutive games and three times in his past five.

• Twins’ No. 9 prospect Felix Jorge pitched his way out Josh Donaldson Jersey of trouble through seven innings, but it finally caught up to him in the eighth for Double-A Chattanooga. After pitching seven scoreless innings and giving up eight hits, a trio of hits resulted in two runs against Jorge in the eighth as he finished the game having given up two runs in eight innings. The 23-year-old was a tough luck loser, but the outing was a positive sign after he gave up five runs in his last start.

• Mets’ No. 14 prospect Merandy Gonzalez spun a gem in his debut with Class A Advanced St. Lucie. The Josh Donaldson Womens Jersey righty threw 54 of his 82 pitches for strikes while giving up one run over six innings. Gonzalez was promoted to St. Lucie after posting a 1.55 ERA through 11 starts with Class A Columbia.

• Nationals prospects Blake Perkins (No. 14) and Jakson Reetz (No. 18) helped lead Class A Hagerstown to a 9-5 win over Greensboro as the duo combined to

• Orioles’ No. 17 prospect Cedric Mullins extended his hitting streak to nine and homered for the second time in as many contests for Double-A Bowie. Mullins boosted his average up to .321 with his second four-hit game of the season, finishing 4-for-5.

• Nationals’ No. 19 prospect Raudy Read put together a season-best four RBIs with a 2-for-4 game for Double-A Harrisburg. Read helped the Senators get off to a fast start with a two-run double in the first and lifted his club to a 6-5 lead with a go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth.

Indians’ No. 22 prospect Ryan Merritt was stuck with a no-decision despite putting together one of his best starts this season for Triple-A Columbus. Merritt set a career high with 10 strikeouts as he gave up one run on three hits over eight innings.

Rays put on offensive display in win vs. Josh Donaldson Jersey For Sale O’s

ST. PETERSBURG — A potent offense met a struggling pitching staff, and the results were predictable Friday night at Tropicana Field, where the Rays defeated the Orioles, 15-5.Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 20 Josh Donaldson Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey Cheap.

The Rays (40-36) moved to four games over .500 for the first time this season. Meanwhile, the pitchers for the Orioles (35-38) allowed five runs or more for the 20th consecutive game, earning a dubious distinction by tying the Major League record established by the 1924 Phillies.

Evan Longoria’s two-run single in the first off Ubaldo Jimenez got the Rays started. Logan Morrison drove him home with a triple to center then scored on a groundout to put the Rays up 4-0. That inning seemed to open the floodgates for a potent offense that feasts on mistakes.

Jimenez did not make it out of the third, exiting after 2 1/3 innings following two-run homers by Shane Peterson and Derek Norris to put the Rays up 9-2.

“Never really got in step,” Orioles manager Buck Showalter said of Jimenez. “We’re trying to squeeze every out we can out of him. We’re trying to take some load off the bullpen, but we just couldn’t get him through any type of length of an outing. Just command. He comes out and walks the first two guys, it doesn’t bode well.”

The Rays hit three home runs, clubbed 11 hits, and scored four or more runs
Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey in three innings.

Chris Archer started for the Rays and picked up the win after allowing five runs in six innings, moving to 6-4 on the season. Jimenez Kevin Pillar Womens Jersey took the loss and is now 2-3.

“The only thing you try to focus Kevin Pillar Jersey on is to go out there and compete and try to give your team a chance to win,” Jimenez said of being the guy to put the Orioles in a tie for the Major League record. “Even if it didn’t happen or doesn’t happen, of course you don’t want to be talking about tonight we are going to be giving up five more runs. It’s not like that.”

Rays manager Kevin Cash was pleased with Friday’s outcome.

“Good win,” Cash said. “After the off-day, bounce back. The offense, obviously there was a lot of people, and I go down the list. Longo, big day for him, four RBIs. Shane Peterson gets up here, impacts us right away, four RBIs. [Norris] had a big night. LoMo had another big night. Everybody seemed to find a way to connect with the baseball.”

MOMENTS THAT MATTERED
Peterson power: The Rays held a 5-2 lead when they took their third turn at-bat. Steven Souza Jr. walked to start the inning, bringing Peterson to the plate. When the count reached 2-1, Peterson jumped on an 81-mph splitter and deposited the ball into the right-field stands for his second home run of the season, and first since his contract was selected from Triple-A prior to Friday night’s game. Norris added a two-run homer in the inning, and the Rays had the separation the team needed, opening a seven-run lead.Youth Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Home White Baseball Jersey.

“Just trying to have good at-bats, not trying to do anything too fancy,” Peterson said. “Just put the barrel on the ball.”

Longoria gets ’em going: Longoria has had a less than auspicious first half, entering Friday night’s game hitting .249 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs. Nevertheless, the longest-tenured Rays player remains the man. He’s still the guy other teams talk about having to pitch to carefully while negotiating the Rays’ lineup. Longoria shifted the Rays’ offense into high gear in the first inning Friday night with his two-run single that led to a four-run inning. He later added a sac fly and a bases-loaded walk to record four RBIs on the night. The Rays’ offense has been potent to date. If Longoria gets hot, that would bode well for the Rays’ chances to remain in contention. More >

Catcher Wilson Kevin Pillar Jersey Ramos makes debut for Rays

ST. PETERSBURG — Wilson Ramos went 1-for-4 with a single from the sixth spot in the order in Saturday’s 8-3 loss to the Orioles, his first game since returning from knee surgery.Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 20 Josh Donaldson Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey Cheap.

Ramos led off the ninth inning with a single up the middle for his first hit since Sept. 26, the day his breakout 2016 abruptly ended.

“We were all genuinely excited to have him back there. I know he was pumped,” manager Kevin Cash said. “I would imagine he probably had some jitters there early on just to get back in a big league game, he’s worked really hard.230  Josh Donaldson Jersey For Sale; It was nice to see him get that hit at the end to get that off his back. Now just go play.”

Ramos tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last September while playing for the Nationals. When it happened, he was in the final week of a career year in which he batted .307 with 22 home runs and 80 RBIs.

After signing Ramos to a two-year, $12.5 million deal in December, the Rays finally got a chance to see the 2016 All-Star play.

“This team and clubhouse are obviously very excited,” Cash said before the game. “We were excited when we signed him this offseason, and probably a little bit more excited now that we get to see him play for us. We’ve seen his work in his rehab and got to know him as a guy, and he’s going to fit in really well here.”
Men’s Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Alternate Royal Blue Jersey.

Ramos’ first assignment was to catch rookie pitcher Jacob Faria, who won each of his first three starts while allowing one run in each contest entering Saturday. Cash alerted Faria on Friday that Ramos would catch him, and told him to communicate to Ramos what pitches he thinks have been effective for him so far.

“Wilson’s Kevin Pillar Womens Jersey a veteran catcher that has a lot of knowledge on how to navigate pitchers through innings and games,” Cash said. “I think they’ll work really well together.”

Faria threw to Derek Norris in Josh Donaldson Jersey each of his three starts, but Norris was designated for assignment after Friday’s game to make room for Ramos.

“It was an easy transition,” Faria said. “Washington plays Baltimore every year, so he knows these hitters too. Same as throwing to [Norris], trusting what he’s putting down and going from there.”

Norris went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs Friday, bringing his season line to a .201 average with nine round-trippers and 24 RBIs.

“It was a difficult decision. A lot of thought went into it,” Cash said. “I think given where we feel Wilson’s workload is and will continue to get, and the complement to [Jesus] Sucre to add to our team was the best fit.”

As the starting catcher, Ramos played 131 games for the Nationals in 2016, and 128 the year prior. Cash added the way Sucre works with the pitching staff and his ability to limit opposing baserunners made him the ideal fit for the roster.
Youth Majestic Flexbase Authentic 11 Kevin Pillar Toronto Blue Jays Home White Baseball Jersey.

“Derek Norris did a lot of good things to help us win games here for the first three months,” Cash said. “Any time you’re talking about that, they’re difficult decisions. He handled it as a pro and we wish him nothing but the best. Hopefully he gets an opportunity to go back there and play everyday because he’s earned the right and showed that he’s capable of doing that.”

Boxberger nearing return

Reliever Brad Boxberger’s return from his lat muscle injury has been slightly delayed.

“He came in yesterday, obviously our plans were to activate him on the weekend, but he felt something in the side oblique area,” Cash said. “He’ll throw Kevin Pillar Youth Jersey a bullpen tomorrow and we’ll see how he recovers from it.”

Boxberger has yet to pitch in 2017. Two years ago he made the All-Star team while leading the AL with 41 saves. Injuries limited him to 27 games in 2016.

Blue Jays Jersey Red to make MLB debut Wednesday Josh Donaldson

ST. PETERSBURG — The Rays Josh Donaldson Jersey will summon right-hander Jacob Faria, who is ranked ninth in the organization according to MLBPipeline.com, to make his Major League debut Wednesday night against the White Sox. Tampa Bay will need to make a corresponding move to add him to the roster.

An excited Faria arrived prior to Tuesday night’s Rays-White Sox game at Tropicana Field.

Full Game Coverage

“It’s the one thing I’ve been working for since I was 6,” Faria said. “I don’t think there’s anything right now that Blue Jays Jersey Red trumps this moment for me.”

Faria, 23, is 6-1 with a 3.07 ERA in 11 starts for Triple-A Durham. He has 84 strikeouts with 22 walks in 58 2/3 innings this season. In 117 Minor League appearances, Faria is 41-32 with a 3.13 ERA.

Kevin Cash first got acquainted with Troy Tulowitzki Jersey Faria in Spring Training of 2016, and Faria impressed the Rays’ Kevin Pillar Jersey manager.

“It didn’t look like he was intimidated whatsoever,” Cash said. “He appears to be a confident kid who has really found his stuff and he’s been performing well.”

As Joe Carter Jersey for what Faria does well, Cash added: “He’s got a fastball-changeup mix. He’s started to develop a cutter that’s very effective. But the biggest thing is, he’s going in and throwing strikes and winning ballgames.”

The Rays selected Faria in the 10th round of the 2011 Draft.

Faria’s presence allows Tampa Bay to push back the starts of Jake Odorizzi and Alex Cobb, who will start Thursday and Friday, respectively.

“Quite a success story, with respect to where he was selected in the Draft, the work that went in with player Russell Martin Jersey development, just the progression of his career,” said Rays senior vice president of baseball operations and general manager Erik Neander. “This is one that a lot of people in our organization have been a part in getting to this point. We’re excited to see him out here tomorrow.”

Faria, who got engaged to his girlfried Jessica last week, is expecting to have a lot of family and friends on hand to witness his Major League debut.

“The main thing they wanted to emphasize is, it’s the same game, so don’t let the excitement trump the situation,” Faria said. “Just kind of stay within myself and go out there and do what I know how to do.”

Who are Rays considering in MLB Draft Kevin Pillar Jersey Blue Jays

The Major League Baseball Draft is right around the corner on June 12, and I believe the Rays have their highest pick at No. 4 since they had the first pick of the 2008 Draft. Anyway, I’m wondering if you can give us some names who might be in consideration by the Rays as their top pick.
— Gene F., Tampa, Fla.

According to MLB.com’s latest mock draft, the Rays will be taking Louisville first baseman/left-handed pitcher Brendan McKay. The Twins, Reds Kevin Pillar Jersey and Padres draft ahead of the Rays. Names that I’m hearing will go before McKay include Vanderbilt right-hander Kyle Wright; Hunter Greene, a high school shortstop/right-handed pitcher from Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and MacKenzie Gore, a left-handed high school pitcher from North Carolina.

MLB Draft Central

Josh Donaldson Jersey changed my opinion about infielder Tim Beckham. He’s finally playing like a Major Leaguer. Beckham is still not Buster Posey, but I’m starting to like the way he plays. So my question to you is: When Matt Duffy returns from the disabled list, what will they do with Beckham, Michael Martinez and Daniel Robertson? Also, what happens at catcher when Wilson Ramos returns from the DL?
— Bob D., St. Petersburg

Good question, and it’s a pleasant problem for the Rays to have. Beckham has done well thus far, but from Joe Carter Jersey everything I’ve gathered, Tampa Bay is committed to Duffy at shortstop. So once he returns, I would expect him to be the Rays’ shortstop. Having said that, Duffy hasn’t returned yet, and his stint on the DL has lasted longer than expected. If he returns any time soon, I would expect for Martinez or Rickie Weeks Jr., to be the odd man out, unless they decide they’d like Robertson to play every day. If that’s the case, he’d be optioned to Triple-A Durham. On the other hand, the Rays really like what Robertson brings to the team, particularly in the field. As for Ramos’ return. I would expect Jesus Sucre to be the roster casualty to make room for Ramos. I think it bodes well for the team that Tampa Bay will have tough decisions to make in both cases.

Since the Rays appear within striking distance of staying relevant, do you think they will be buyers or sellers at the July 31 non-waiver Trade Deadline? If they are buyers, what do you think they’d try and get? If they’re sellers, who do you think will go?
— Tom M., Tampa, Fla.

If they are buyers, the Rays would likely be shopping for a piece or two for their bullpen. Of course that might become unnecessary if Blake Snell makes his return to the rotation, which would allow Tampa Bay to move Erasmo Ramirez back to the bullpen. If the Rays somehow get Russell Martin Jersey into a tailspin between now and the Trade Deadline — that doesn’t look like that’s going to happen, despite their weekend in Seattle — they’d probably become sellers. In that case, I could see Tampa Bay trading Colby Rasmus and Logan Morrison, and perhaps Alex Cobb. All are eligible to be free agents after the season.

I don’t understand the Rays’ fixation with Weeks. He’s struck out in over half of his at-bats, and he hasn’t fielded well at first. He sounds like a great guy in the clubhouse, but is that enough of a positive to trump the negatives? I’m not seeing it.
— Ted W., St. Petersburg

First, Weeks appears to be a solid clubhouse guy, the likes of an Eric Hinske or Cliff Floyd back in the day, so I don’t discount his value there. However, based on some of the tough roster decisions that the Rays will have to make in the near future, they will likely have to do some soul-searching as Troy Tulowitzki Jersey to whether keeping Weeks is the prudent move. In fairness to the veteran, first base is a new position for him.

I see that the Rays have a doubleheader scheduled for June 10. Why in the world would they schedule a doubleheader? I get when doubleheaders are scheduled to make up games, those are necessary, but why deliberately do this to the team? As it is, chances are they’ll have to play a doubleheader or two later in the summer due to bad weather. Can’t say I agree with the Rays on this one.
— John B., Valrico, Fla.

Giving the fans something fun was the driving force behind this one. It’s BOGO — buy one, get one free, for Rays fans. Spend the day at the ballpark beginning at 2:10 p.m. ET for the first game, and the second one begins shortly after the first one ends. It should be a fun day for Tampa Bay fans. As for the players — particularly the position Jose Bautista Jersey players — a day like this can be tough on their bodies. I’m sure manager Kevin Cash will try and keep that in mind when he makes out the lineup. No doubt, every player on the roster will see action during the doubleheader.

Odorizzi, Ramirez to duel as Rays host Angels

Right-handers Jake Odorizzi and JC Ramirez are set to battle on Monday night as the Rays and Angels meet for the first of a four-game series at Tropicana Field.

Odorizzi is 3-2 with a Custom Blue Jays Jersey 3.16 ERA over seven starts this season for Tampa Bay and earned a victory in his last start against the Indians on Marcus Stroman Jersey Tuesday after allowing four runs over six innings. He is winless in four career starts against the Angels, going 0-3 with a 6.98 ERA.

Mike Trout (4-for-6), Ben Revere (4-for-6), Andrelton Simmons (4-for-7, 5 RBIs) and C.J. Cron (2-for-4, HR) are among the Halos who have had success against Odorizzi in the past.

“He’s the best player in the game. Period,” Odorizzi said of Trout. “They’re a good lineup. Every team is a good lineup here, so we’ll find out what they all entail tomorrow when [Rays pitching coach Jim] Hickey talks to us. But before that, I’ve faced them before and they’re a lot of the same guys. I’ve just got to go and pitch my game and not make mistakes, and I just need to be efficient with my pitches.”

Ramirez is 3-3 with a 3.97 ERA over 10 appearances, including seven starts, this year. He took a no-decision in his last outing against the White Sox on Tuesday, yielding two runs over seven innings. Ramirez has tossed two scoreless innings in two career relief appearances against the Rays, both of which came at Tropicana Field.

Three things to know about this game

• The Rays took the 2016 series with the Angels by a 4-3 margin, but the Halos have won their last three games at The Trop.

• Angels slugger Albert Pujols has missed Russell Martin Jersey three consecutive games with a sore right hamstring, but he could return to the lineup on Monday as the designated hitter. The Halos were without a DH over the weekend, as they played an Interleague series against the Mets at Citi Field.

• Trout is batting .362 (17-for-47) in 13 career games Kevin Pillar Jersey at The Trop.

Toronto Blue Jays Ryan Goins Jersey Dickerson shows he’s #ASGWorthy

ST. PETERSBURG — Rays manager Kevin Cash said leadoff hitter Corey Dickerson is hunting for pitches right now, and Ryan Goins Jersey in Saturday’s 9-5 win over the Yankees, he found a couple that he was able to hit out of the park.

Dickerson’s two home runs gave him his 20th multi-hit game of the season — best in the Majors — and he has five dingers in the past four games.

After giving up a leadoff home run to Dickerson, Yankees starter Masahiro Tanaka tried to go down in the zone against him in the fourth inning, and the designated hitter responded with a three-run homer to right field that traveled a projected 442 feet, according to Statcast™.

“Corey Dickerson probably hit a pretty good pitch,” Cash said. “Kind of a pitcher’s Russell Martin Jersey pitch, but that’s how locked in Corey is at the plate.”

Dickerson has hit safely in 16 of his 18 games in May, and he has nine multi-hit games this month. His slash line has improved to .343/.394/.639.

His presence at the top of the Rays’ lineup has sparked their offense early and often during this four-game win streak.

“Any time you hit a leadoff home run or get a run early in the first inning, it definitely helps the pitcher out,” Dickerson said. “I was just looking for a good pitch to hit, trying to battle, really just trying to have a plan when I go up there and be consistent with that plan. And it worked out.”

Dickerson is also getting plenty of respect from opposing pitchers. He was intentionally walked with runners on second and third in the second Custom Blue Jays Jersey inning. And on his fourth trip to the plate, after his second home run, he was hit by an 87-mph fastball from Tommy Layne.

“No, I wasn’t expecting it. I was looking for another good pitch to hit, and you know, it hit me,” Dickerson said. “The only thing I didn’t like about it was where it was located. I mean, if it was on purpose and he hit me, that’s OK. I just took my base and went on about it.”

Dickerson’s approach has become infectious at the top of the Rays’ batting order. Kevin Kiermaier, who was temporarily moved down to the eighth spot, is batting second again and is 11-for-31 (.355) in his past eight games. Evan Longoria has snapped out of a recent 0-for-13 slump Marcus Stroman Jersey by going 6-for-9 with a home run in the past two games.

“I think [our lineup] is always somewhat of a threat,” Dickerson said. “[Kiermaier] is really starting to put together good at-bats, and he brings speed on the bases. Longo is Longo. He’s going to be there, and his numbers will be there by the end of the season.”
